Developed for use in school settings, for students who exhibit below-average reading skills, this software includes a human voice soundtrack to present the lessons. Features include pre- and post-tests that determine grade level, sight-word competency, and ability to read nonsense words, including the option to indicate which part of the word is misread. Test results are used to customize the curriculum in order to meet the needs of each student. All software is accompanied by a direct instruction. The Intermediate and Adult Education Teachers Kit contains the materials to teach the Reading Horizons program, including teacher's manuals, enrichment CD, student involvement materials, posters, and practice cards.One license must be purchased for each computer running the software and an unlimited number of students may use a single station, one at a time. Prices are $1299/station for 1-3 stations, $949/station for 4-6 stations; $849/station for 7-9 stations. An unlimited site license is $16,495.
