Laugh & Learn 2-in-1 Learning Kitchen
© 2007 Fisher-Price, Inc.
When baby crawls through the doorway of this pretend kitchen, he or she triggers music, sing-along songs, dancing lights or other sounds. There are three modes of play which can be selected with a large toggle switch -- learning, music, and imagination. One side of the toy is designed to represent a kitchen, while the other side represents a family room. As they touch, they hear; a formula that is well-suited to this developmental level. Content includes typical fare: ABC's, numbers, colors, and shapes, delivered by way of 20 songs, 40 first words, and 20 activities including an on/off light switch, crawl-through arch with sensors, spinning stovetop numbers, interactive faucet and drop-though sink, peek-a-boo refrigerator, a pretend radio and clock. If you have the floor space, this an example of a developmentally appropriate application of technology for younger children. Too bad you can't customize the music and sounds. Requires three C batteries (not included).
