Math Play
© 2007 Natsume
Can you make a math equation that balances? Complex but potentially addicting, this brain-twisting math game certainly isn't for everyone. However, the drag-and-drop method of constructing math equations is innovative. After you sign into one of four game save slots, you choose from four modes of play: Equal Drill, Equal Shuffle, Equal Match and Equal Nine. In Equal Drill, you rearrange cards using the DS stylus to make a working equation. In other games, you arrange the cards in domino-fashion -- so that the equations match -- or create an equation that can use up as many cards as possible. If you run out of time or get a wrong answer, you'll hear 'boos', and it is possible to get confused by the initial interface. Before you start each game, you choose the amount of time to play and the challenge level -- a rather clunky process. It is possible to play with up to four other players, using the Nintendo DS Wireless features. If you enjoy games such as Sudoko, you might like Math Play. Otherwise, pass.
