Here's another collection of three artfully illustrated multi-language interactive books, on one disk. The stories (The Painters In The Park, Inukshuk Joe, and Kate's Birthday Surprise) each feature a simple rock named Joe, who ends up in some curious situations. For example, in Painters In The Park, he meets an artist with no arms, and learns how it must feel to overcome a disability in order to follow your dream. Each story contains about 30 pages/screens. The text is presented in print below the picture, with preferences for default language setting and/or reading difficulty. At any point, children can click on a word to hear it read aloud, or double click to hear the word in English, Spanish or French. A $10 DVD version is also available that presents the story in slide show format, for classroom or car trip use. When used with a computer, the program runs in Flash player and requires no installation on current Macintosh or Windows computers.
