Teaches: A Macintosh utility for recording lectures

CTR Review

Designed for presenters who use Macintosh computers (especially Macbooks with cameras), ProfCast is designed for recording "enhanced podcasts" (presentations including PowerPoint and/or Keynote slides). The latest version offers an integrated workflow that makes creating, recording, and publishing podcasts easy. Available as a download from www.profcast.com, the latest version (2.1) allows live presentation recording, synchronization of slides with audio, Keynote and PowerPoint support, RSS generation, and publishing support. Elements of your presentation—including slide timings, bullet point builds, and voice narration—are recorded, so you can capture your presentation as you give it. Tools are also provided to help you publish your recorded presentation as an enhanced podcast, complete with RSS. Finished files can be saved in .m4a or .mov format, or imported into iTunes.
