The Whiz Kid learning System is a large touch-sensitive learning board with slide-in activity sheets that can be played on the go or linked to your Windows XP computer (note that the unit we tested would not work with Vista). The package includes a CD-ROM, a Wondertown RAM cartridge, 40 activity pages and a USB cable. After you put in the four AA batteries, you insert the cartridge and turn on the large plastic page reader. You can then slide a coded page over a touch sensitive membrane surface to interact with the items on the page. If a page gets lost, it is possible to print a new one from the enclosed CD. A record keeping system lets you track a child's progress. Other Whiz Ware titles that will be available ($20 each) include: Bob the Builder; Spiderman; Thomas the Train; Dora the Explorer; and Scooby-Doo.
