Ratatouille (PC)
© 2007 THQ, Inc.
The Mac and Windows versions of the Ratatouille game are similar in many ways to the game console versions, with the added layer of complexity that comes with using the arrow keys and space bar to move and jump. As you explore through six levels, you collect cheese to maintain health. There's a lot of jumping, smashing, climbing and collecting, with some minigames mixed in. Reading is limited to some of the menus. We looked at a beta Windows version, and found the graphics to be pretty good; better than the PSP and DS, but not as good as the Xbox 360. Testers found it to be "a typical movie game" and recommended borrowing it, but not buying it as "there are zillions of other games like this one." Created by Heavy Iron and Asobo Studio for THQ.
