This series of guide exercises is designed to teach critical thinking skills. By using written and spoken prompts, a child's task is to rescue Dr. Cognito from a locked basement and restore order to her lab. There are 10 underground levels of activities, each unlocking a security unit. Once they are each unlocked, the doctor is released. In order to move to the next level, children must receive a score of 85% or better on a series of dry multiple-choice questions. There is also a practice mode, so that children can access the activities without unlocking them first. Some activities have over 20 questions, so getting through a level can be dry. Content includes 38 activities with a variety of questions; printable instructions, certificates, sample activities, word puzzles and vocabulary list; adjustable difficulty levels; adventure or practice modes, and self-grading with printable and saved scores. Records are kept for each student.
