This one- or two-player Asian fighting game takes practice, but is "amazingly fun," according to our testers. Unlike other fighting games like Tekken and Soul Calibur, the Virtua Fighter series has always tried to provide more realistic gameplay. However, the drawback of this is that the kicks, jumps and punches are harder to control. Fortunately there is a tutorial with easy computer-controlled opponents to fight, which helps you improve your movies. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous, with support for up to 1080p resolution. Content includes 17 fighters, including two new entries: El Blaze and a Chinese practitioner of the Kou-Ken style, named Eileen. This is a fighting game, so violence is to be expected, but it's worth noting that there is no blood involved at all. For those hunting for a good fight, Virtua Fighters 5 for the PS3 is a good option.
