Designed for art instruction, Poser Figure Artist is one of several 3D virtual model software products based from e-frontier. It is designed to let artists explore human figures, without the cost and expense of real models. The male, female and child electronic models can be posed, and then digitally adjusted with different lighting options or other artistic techniques. Scenes can be printed or saved for artistic reference or exported as finished artwork. The software includes a quick start onscreen step-by-step project guide to help users create projects, a hierarchical content library including access to the "Content Paradise" site, and reference documentation. Other features include shadow rendering options with Ambient occlusion and Soft Ray traced Shadows, Image-Based Lighting, and Smooth Shading.
