This Play-A-Sound book offers kids the opportunity to learn and read in two languages (English and Spanish) with added sound effects. I Can Count features buttons that are numbered 1 to 30 and correspond with numbers/pictures in the book. You press the corresponding button to hear that number, the name of the object in the picture and the sound it makes. Children can flip a switch to hear it in either language. The pictures in the book are big and bright. Children will be able to relate to the objects illustrated in the book (pirates, airplanes, toasters, saws, feathers and buttons). Also, not only are the numbers written, but they can be clearly heard when a button is pressed. We liked how children are active participants in their learning, and that this can be used independently. Includes 3 button cell batteries.
