The GBA version of LEGO Star Wars actually seems more rich with problem solving than the more graphic console and PC versions. While there is some music and sound effects, there is no narration and more reading required. Players can play in either Story or Free Play modes. In the Story mode, you must work through the challenges in order to unlock the level, and you have limited access to the characters that are found in the scene. As you explore, you collect LEGO studs and hearts to keep you healthy. The Free Play mode lets you journey back to any unlocked chapter to try out different characters and replay the challenges. This is a complex game, with plenty of content. When you exit a level, your progress is reviewed and saved on the cartridge. Content includes 20 characters, with adventures set in three Star Wars movies. If you're looking for a state-of-the-art GBA adventure, get this cartridge.
