Sure to send your cat into the nearest plant, this 14-inch tall robotic spider-man figure responds with a song and jerky, rather startling, twirling hand motions after you press a button (just below the fabric) on his foot. Content includes two songs: "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and the "Spider-man and Friends" theme song. Audio quality is surprisingly good. Two modes of play can be selected via a small switch on the bottom of the doll's foot (meant to be out of site for kids). One mode is a bit more interactive, with a button press required every four bars of the song; the second mode plays the entire song. This doll is leans more toward the entertaining side, and the things children can do with it are limited. It also leaves little work to the imagination. One thing is for sure — like Tickle-Me-Elmo — it will grab your child's attention, at first. Requires 4 AA batteries (included).
