While there's not a lot of programming value in these amazing robots (other than steering them around), Owi's expanding line of miniature robots is, if nothing else, eye-catching -- especially when seen from a distance. First released in 2006, these two-inch long bugs can sense light and touch, and are powered by button-celled batteries. Some of them can be steered by tiny, two channel remote control.
