First, there’s an interactive lesson presented via narrated 3D animation. As the lesson progresses, there are comprehension checks, for instance, multiple choice questions or a graph-plotting activity. Following the lesson is an application section, where scenarios play out as the student applies the skills and knowledge learned in the lesson. One application section in the Forces & Motion unit, for example, has students calculating the speed and velocity of an oncoming tornado—a fairly captivating exercise! The final section of each teaching sequence is the testing activity, in which students are assessed on their retention and understanding of the subject matter.
