Tetris Elements
© 2004 ValuSoft
Tetris, the now legendary timed game by Alexey Pajitnov, is presented here in six themes. The goal is to sort falling blocks into patterns, in an effort to create solid rows and win points. The themes offer variety to the game. For example, in the Earthquake mode, you might be distracted by a randomly shaking screen. In Fire, the blocks get hotter the higher you drop them. Other themes include ice, space and wind. Music and sound effects can be controlled. High scores are saved, by way of a sign in screen. Note that besides the themes, the basic task of Tetris is unchanged -- a solid vertical row is required to score points. Setup options allow background music to be turned off, or it is possible to import your own music. All in all, if you like Tetris, you'll like this game, although keep in mind that many free and shareware versions of Tetris are available. Created by Imaginengine for THQ.
