This is a five-CD set that provides collection of older, unrelated materials (from different publishers) that could provide solid instruction in Spanish for beginners or intermediate student. Contents include: Talk Now! Spanish (formerly published by EuroTalk Interactive), Talk More Spanish, World Talk Spanish, Interactive Picture Dictionary, Who is Oscar Lake? (Spanish), and Merriam-Webster's Spanish-English Dictionary. The first two programs provide instruction by way of multiple choice quizzes; the third features intermediate-level games and six variable speed stories for dictation and comprehension. The interactive picture dictionary provides more than 2,000 entries demonstrated through the use of photo imagery, audio and video clips, and interactive games. The Oscar Lake program lets students solve a mystery as they learn to speak Spanish. Other versions are available for Italian, English, German and French.
